A Little Yarn About a Little Twine
We had some cool empty wine bottles sitting around, and I decided that they would look chicly rustic if they were covered in twine. You could cover anything in twine, and it instantly becomes "chicly rustic"- that's just how the universe works. Here they are halfway done:
I just shmeered some tacky glue on the glass, and then wound jute twine all around the bottle, squishing it down as I went.
Here they are all finished:
I thought at first that they'd look good as candle holders, but then I realized that the wax would drip all over the twine, so now I'm thinking they'll make great vases- just need to find some flowers!
