Crochet Pretties

Salut les amis!  Merci bien d'être venu chez mon blog!  Voudriez-vous voir ce qui vient de tomber de mon crochet récemment?  Un petit projet utile et mignon.

Hello friends!  Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Would you like to see what just fell off of my crochet hook?  It is a sweet little bag made out of cotton hemp fiber, which gives it a soft but solid texture.

 

Ce petit sac en crochet s'appelle (selon le patron que j'ai suivi) un "sac à savon".  Ce nom a l'air terriblement démodé, mais en réalité, c'est un nouveau coup de cœur!  Je l'ai crocheté en fil de coton de chanvre, ce qui a créé une texture à la fois lisse et ferme.  Je m'en sers dans la douche avec mon nouveau savon d'amande- oh le parfum!  J'adore le parfum d'amandes, qui me manque aux Etats-Unis.  Ce petit sachet aide à créer une mousse soyeuse et à ne pas gaspiller les petits bouts de savon (une de mes bêtes noires sans doute!). 

According to the pattern, it's called a "soap saver" bag, which sounds terribly old-fashioned but which turned out to be terry adorable!  I use it in the shower with a brand new, local almond soap that I'm trying out- oooh it smells good!  I really love the scent of almonds, and I miss it here in the US.  The little soap sachet makes an amazingly rich lather and helps to not waste those last little tiny bits of soap.

Ces jours-ci je ne peux pas m'empêcher de chanter dans la douche!  : )

So now I just can't help singing in the shower!
