Hunting the Wild Zucchini

After a rather lengthy hiatus from visiting our country estate (i.e. the 15 x 15 garden plot we rent from the park district for thirty bucks a year), we returned to take stock of our agricultural venture.  While we were weeding and weeding and weeding and...weeding, we heard a little rustle amongst the leaves.  Could it be the cool early autumn breeze rustling through the garden?  Or was it.......................................................................................................................................................

We also brought home some tomatoes and a cucumber- still yellow!  Maybe if the weather's better next year, we'll be able to grow some green ones!
