Visitors from the Forest
Last Thursday, I was presented with a gorgeous bouquet by some very special people, and it has been brightening our home ever since. The smell of the lilies and roses has been subtle, fresh, and delightful!
This morning, I noticed that the bouquet not only included beautiful flowers, but also magical little forest creatures that had decided to come out of their flowery home to celebrate Spring around a campfire.
Would you like to meet my new friends? Let me introduce you to Lovely Lady Fox. I first noticed her poking her nose out of the baby's breath, and we began talking about flowers and sunshine and rain drops, and eventually she came out to have her photo taken.
Mr. Skunk overheard our conversation and peeked around the ferns to see if we wanted to share a nice cup of tea with him.
Little Miss Raccoon had been napping amongst the rose petals, but the sound of the teapot woke her up, and she declared that we couldn't have a proper tea with also sharing a cupcake.
Young Master Hedgehog was worried that we would ruin our dinner with sweets, so he rustled up some mushrooms to make our tea a bit healthier.
Two more guests joined us, first Mama Owl, landing ever so softly on the bright red Gerbera daisy...
...and then Baby Owl, following close behind, bringing spring blossoms for our party.
We all gathered around the campfire and had a jolly old time!
