Saturday Morning

We have a tradition here in the Mersydotes household- Saturday mornings are for waking up early and making pancakes! 

And this weekend, we had an extra treat, as Mama Mersydotes had sent us some of her homemade jams.  Blackberry and strawberry- hand-picked, and hand-made! 

We slathered on some butter and some jam and declared that it was delicious!  Mama M. got the balance between sweet and tart just right!
